I can remember last winter when I was cutting firewood with my chainsaw. The saw slipped and I received a pretty nasty cut on the middle finger of my left hand. Well, it ended up getting pretty infected.
I liberally coated it with Rawleigh Antiseptic Salve then wrapped it well with a soft cloth. Repeating, keeping the area clean and rewrapping totally cleared the infection out within three days.
